Following a fall competing in a horse trial 20 year old Isabel spent a week in ICU and more than a month with post-traumatic amnesia (PTA). Isabel then underwent an intensive rehabilitation program at Epworth Richmond, as she recovered from a traumatic brain injury (TBI). “I really enjoyed the rehab program because I could see how I was progressing and it all happened quite quickly, which I found very comforting,” Isabel says.
