Another animation for our upcoming fan film. This one shows the runabout Euphrates landing in the Rendezvous' hangar bay. The backdrop is from starstation.wordpress.com. Basill kindly gave me permission to use his images. The runabout was created by Thomas Slanitz over ten years ago. I had the challenge of making it look like the 3D runabout looked like it was part of the 2D background. I placed a plane under the runabout and set it to only appear where a shadow fell on it. Otherwise, it was transparent.
