If Manning does sign with the Titans, there will be plenty of money to be made, just with him being here. It's areally a sign of just how big of a name Peyton Manning is. If he does play for the Titans, some say that will bring more people downtown, and not just on game day. Let's pretend Peyton Manning does come to Nashville. Sure, you'd expect to see billboards with his face, and if you're Peter Thomashefski, you'll be selling a ton of jerseys at Sport Seasons."You would start seeing Peyton things we didn't even know existed maybe," says Thomashefski. "They make a lot of good license products out there and we wouldn't be able to order enough."The power of Peyton really doesn't end there. For 14 years, Indianapolis has tied its tourism efforts to Manning. The football star voiced an ad and it's just the beginning."He's been gracious in doing meet and greets with other dignitaries and VIP's who are considering bringing businesses or conventions or big tourism events to Indianapolis," says Convention Visitors Association's Chris Gahl.Manning has been a good salesman for Indianapolis and a good Samaritan too. His initial donation was a big part of establishing the Peyton Manning Childrens Hospital. A big impact that goes beyond the obvious one. Peyton Manning brings excitement to the Titans too and perhaps more prime time games. One big reason why downtown, Manning means money."More business for everybody the staff the restaurants, everybody that's downtown, makes a living down here," says Big River's Zack Dormer.Another big thing Manning helped make happen in Indianapolis is the recent Super Bowl. Tourism officials tell us he's one of the top 10 people who are responsible for making that event a reality.
