http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com There are many hotels/pensions/hostels to pick from both in Annecy and surrounding the lake ranging in price, friendliness and charm. You'd think that hoteliers would be eager to respond to e-mails and give price quotes, but we didn't find this to be the case. When Hotel de Paris e-mailed with a rate within our budget, we jumped on it not knowing exactly if this was really in the desirable location looked for but happy for any response.
