So I am back from my vacation, it was awesome and much needed. Unfortunately that meant that there were no iOS 12.1 Beta 4 videos and the reason why the  Beta 5 videos are one day late. But here they are.

So far there has not been much difference between the current public release and the iOS 12.1 Betas in performance, so it will be interesting to see if there has been any performance impact in Beta 4 and Beta 5.

Conclusion.

iOS 12.1 Beta 5 is still more or less performing the same as iOS 12.0.1. A bit better performance on the 5S when looking at the benchmark results, on most of the other devices it does seem like it is a close race, more or less the same results. It is great news however that iOS 12.1 does not look like it will degrade your performance if upgrading from iOS 11/12.
