http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Way too wired from actually seeing the Northern Lights for a few brief minutes and exhilarated over dog sledding, there was no way I could sleep. I kept hearing those excited dogs barking in my dreams. Instead, went into the Panorama Lounge at 5:00 a.m. to watch the Midnatsol dock in Hammerfest. Hammerfest is the northernmost town in the world! Had no intention of getting off, just wanted to "see" what the northernmost town looked like from the ship. Hammerfest doesn't appear to be "northernmost" when looking at a map, but I guess you have to take latitude, longitude, what it is that they map towns by, into consideration. Next and last stop for us, Kirkenes, where we stayed at the Snow Hotel/Ice Hotel (video already uploaded)... Bye-bye- Midnatsol. A super-dooper, great cruise up the Western Coast of Norway.
