A video about a photoshoot that brings to light one production tip when working with models. It is simple, unique and might be more elusive than one might think. I just want to talk about the importance of the subject you are shooting using Megan and Owen as an example. They are both artists. And I mean really total artists at heart. Both create and love to do it. Because they form a circus duo, they encourage each other to be shameless in the creation of whatever. This means trying new things, experimentation, and a total acceptance of ones self. Since they are both this way, the creation process can advance in an accelerated way because whatever idea they push and "try out" they always are confident that the other person will do their most to "PLUS THE SUGGESTION" Randy Nelson from Pixar talking about plussing the offer https://youtu.be/yM083wBthR8+ Doing a photo shoot with these two allowed me to benefit from this cool mindset. It took a load off my own responsibility to create. I remember looking back at this photo shoot and saying "damn. . . all I did was press the button". It was a breath of fresh air. Often times we take subjects that stand an look pretty and are receptacles for ideas but in Meg an Owen's case it was as two way street. They fed me as much as I fed them. That is it. No lessons. No how-to. But maybe just one little thing. If you ever get the chance to work with people that you consider creative, ignore whatever thing you think might make them week as a photographic subject because their creativity and open mindedness, for some reason, will be captured in your photo To see the blog on my site: http://jacquesgaines.com/meg-and-owen/ To follow me: patreon.com/JacquesGaines facebook.com/jacquesgainesphotography jacquesgaines.com behance.net/JacquesGaines twitter.com/JacquesGaines instagram.com/jacquesgainesphotography linkedin.com/in/jacquesgaines -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "Behind Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” Speech.
