GM's rocket division had outstretched styling for its full-sized offerings, and you even got a larger V8 than the 4-4-2. So when this history is nicely presented on an affordable classic droptop, we know there are plenty of folks who take notice. Delta was the top of the 88 line, and the convertible was the most expensive style, so you know this one is rare. Only about 4,300 were produced in '66, and we bet few have survived to look this complete. That's important because it has all the right American-sized brightwork on a very well integrated design. For example, this was built before new bumper regulations, so these chrome kings fit in as a vital part of the overall design. And they connect nicely into the full-length rocker trim to create a flowing design all around the car. Adding to this distinction is factory-correct Forest Mist paint that is one of the few colors that can still have modern appeal over a half-century later. And this overall package was treated with care all this time.
