Social grant recipients urged to get new gold card

The South African social security agency, SASSA, says it cannot rule out the possibility that about 370-thousand beneficiaries, who have not collected the new gold card, could have been getting social grants fraudulently. SASSA has extended the deadline for social grant beneficiaries to obtain the new SASSA gold card until the end of December.
