One of the issues being discussed by the UNESCO World Heritage committee holding talks in Doha is a city in Senegal that is being damaged by rising sea levels.

Once France’s old colonial capital for West Africa, Saint Louis is now Senegal’s second largest city, which is also an archipelago barely a metre above sea level.

The city, also known as the Venice of Africa, giving away a lot of climate refugees.
