Transport Deputy Minster, Sindisiwe Chikunga, says human error is the highest contributing factor in fatalities on the country's national roads. Chikunga was speaking at Senwabarwana, Limpopo, during the mass funeral service for 17 people who died in a multi vehicle crash on the N1 outside Polokwane eight days ago. Today's funeral is for 17 of the crash victims and not 21 as announced by authorities earlier. Six other people died on the same N1 road last night after a head on collision between a sedan and a bakkie.
