This week is one of Japan's great yet relatively undocumented and indecisive battles: the battle of Anegawa. Nobunaga faces off fair and square against the combined might of Asakura and Asai, but with more than a little help from Tokugawa, is able to match their strength. In this episode I explain the details of what we know about the real battle and compare it to the relatively faithful portrayal in the game; including my accidentally identical fate during the battle. Oh, apart from that bit where a tornado killed all my horsemen. Pretty sure that didn't happen in real life...

Sorry if I'm a little quiet at times, I recorded this episode whilst ill so my voice didn't hold out so well!
