Ishiyama has held out for 11 years - now it's time to end their rebellion once and for all! This week we face a battle to defeat the last of the Ikko Ikki Sect, a group vying for independence from the samurai clans and causing trouble for Nobunaga. We'll see the stage unfold as I explain the origins and objectives of the national Ikko movement, and why Nobunaga wanted rid of them. 

Finally we'll be moving into chapter 9, in which Nobunaga prepares to mop up the last of his enemies and realise his dream of peace. But perhaps something he hadn't predicted will make things difficult...
