Opposition Senator, Gerald Ramdeen is claiming that a Cabinet Minister has reached out to him to reveal details surrounding the newly established companies stemming out of the closure of Petrotrin. Contributing to debate on the Miscellaneous Provisions (Heritage Petroleum, Paria Fuel Trading and Guaracara Refining Vesting) Bill, 2018 in the Senate, he displayed and disclosed details from a cabinet note presented to him from a cabinet Minister. He wants to know why cabinet has to give the approval to do what was already done more than a month ago.
