Tropical Storm Kai-Tak is the 13th named storm of the season in the Pacific, and may be a problem for the Philippines, Taiwan, and China. The storm is expected to gradually strengthen to a minimal typhoon before grazing the southern tip of Taiwan, and then weakening as it moves into China. The Philippines is currently on alert for Tropical Storm force winds.
