PUBG MOBILE LITE is a tiny version of the legendary PUBG Mobile made specifically for smartphones and tablets that are lower on resources. Its compatibility suits more android versions (4.0.3 or higher), and it weighs in at a much smaller size so more devices than ever can now experience the exciting world of Playersunknown's Battlegrounds.

PUBG MOBILE LITE has the same gameplay as the rest of the games from this Battle Royale franchise: fight to survive in a closed environment until there's only one player left standing. Which is no easy task, but there's plenty of weapons, vehicles and equipment you can use to battle other players and try to become the sole survivor.
This lighter version of PUBG Mobile only lets you play in games of up to forty people, but it keeps in line with the true essence of the original game. Created with Unreal Engine 4, it also has the highest quality graphics possible for a lite app.

Features of the PUBG Mobile Lite
Game Size: The original PUBG Mobile app is sized at 1.6GB for Android and 2.2GB for iOS. But, PUBG Lite is only 30MB in size, and will work with devices who’s RAM ranges from 1GB or less, and functions on an average processor. The main issue low end phones were facing is the incapability of rendering the game’s map without lag.

Smaller Map: To kill the lag, Tencent has reduced the map size considerably, thus avoiding the heavy rendering workload on the phone’s processor. The smaller map is based on the maps of Erangel and Miramar.

Player count reduced: Another major change is that the original PUBG Mobile version lets 100 people play in one game, but the PUBG Mobile Lite version will only have 40 players playing together at once. This will also help reduce the load on the processors as it has fewer players to render on the map.

Graphics: The graphics are also not as great on PUBG Mobile Lite as the original app. On the PUBG Mobile app players can choose between the range from Smooth, Balanced, HD, HDR and Ultra HD, where as on PUBG Mobile Lite, players will only be able to pick between Smooth and Balanced. This move ensures that the game will function more smoothly.

Weapon: On PUBG Mobile Lite will not have a slot for a third gun so a player will not be able to carry a pistol in addition to two bigger guns, like you do in the original mobile app. The third weapon slot came to the full mobile version with its 0.6.0 update and it has been carried forward ever since. Not having a third weapon may mean that players will have to adjust their tactic in game.

Thanks to these changes, players across the world will be able to become a part of the PUBG Mobile universe no matter what phone they own. With the map being smaller and players being able to confront one another much earlier in the game, the experience is expected to be as close as possible to the original mobile version. You will still be able to drive cars, lean to shoot, hold down the eye for a 360 degree view, and stop bullets with the mighty pan on PUBG Mobile Lite.

The lite version comes as a boon for majority of Indian users who’s phones could not support the heavy PUBG Mobile app. However, PUBG Mobile Lite is currently only available in the Philippines and is expected to release in other countries soon. This version of the game will allow a larger chunk of the population to play to earn their first ever Chicken Dinner.
