The 4th basic principle states that we should do spiritual practice according to our spiritual capacity or spiritual level. We practice Spirituality best when it is as per our spiritual capacity. If we try to attempt spiritual practice corresponding to a higher or lower level than ours then it becomes difficult to sustain it. And as a result we may set ourselves to fail at our spiritual practice or even derail our spiritual practice efforts completely. Once we have a certain comfort level with the spiritual practice we are doing, we need to strive for the next level. Only then will our spiritual growth be rapid. If not we get stagnated in our spiritual practice. And as the old adage goes 'if we always do what we always did, we will always get what we always got'...
