6-year-old Salifah Kayani-Skeef gives the family a crash course in split digraphs. As a family, around the dinner table, we usually simultaneously stimulate our digestion and educational development by sharing stories or some inspired insights. On this evening it was Salifah's turn to teach us something new. She chose to explain what is meant by a split digraph. The words she chose for her illustration were a reflection of an earlier lesson about homonyms (words that have the same pronunciation but different meanings).
