As more Malaysians are connected to the internet every day, the risk of cyber crimes including scams and data theft is also getting higher. Last year alone, tens of thousands of organisations across the globe including in Malaysia were struck by a massive-scale cyber attack through a malware known as “WannaCry". Apart from the significant financial losses suffered by some organisations due to the ransomware infection, the cyber attack had also cast the spotlight on gaps and lapses in online security.
