Die winds , das ist ein Oktett von jeweils doppelt besetzten Fagotten, Oboen, Hörnern und Klarinetten - allesamt renommierte Musiker aus dem SWR-Klangkörper. Dazu gesellen sich Harfe, Kontrabass und Schlagzeug. Arrangements von Willi März.
Zur Formation "winds&more" zählen zehn virtuose Mitglieder des SWR Sinfonieorchesters, die am 22. August im Rahmen des Kultursommers auftraten. Durch ihre Vielseitigkeit bewegen sich die Künstler mit sicherem musikalischem Gespür durch alle Epochen und Stile der Musikgeschichte. Neben klassischer Musik geht die stilistische Bandbreite von populärer Klassik über temperamentvolle Rhythmen von Musicalmelodien bis hin zu Swing, Jazz und Bossa Nova.

The winds, is an octet of each doubly occupied bassoons, oboes, horns and clarinets - all renowned musicians from the SWR orchestra Baden-Baden Germany. For this purpose, harp, double bass and drums join.
The formation "Winds & more" include ten virtuous members of the SWR Symphony Orchestra, who performed on August 22.2015 as part of the cultural summer. Due to its versatility, the artists move with a good musical sense through all periods and styles of music history. Besides classical music, the stylistic range of popular classical with temperamentic rhythms of musical melodies includes swing, jazz and bossa nova.
