Totally didn't expect my buddy Roarke to send me a birthday present, and then this massive box crash landed on my doorstep! I don't want to spoil the surprises inside so just enjoy 20 minutes of me unwrapping my gifts. Once again super big thanks to Roarke for his generous gifts which will spawn countless future videos.

Roarke is not only a good friend of mine, but also a master retro craftsman, check out his beautiful custom work and kits for sale here: https://www.roarkesretrocorner.com/ (come for the backlight mods, stay for the pineapples)!

Wanna get technical info/shoot the breeze with Roarke, Elliot (of "The Retro Future" fame, another friend of the channel), or me? Check out the official The Retro Future facebook page where we all hang out at regularly: https://www.facebook.com/groups/TheRetroFuture/

This video will go up just in time for Thanksgiving, and not to get all sappy but I just wanted to say that I'm thankful for good friends like Roarke and Elliot, an amazingly supportive viewer base, my sponsor JLCPCB, and ICStation (a long time supporter of the channel, who have donated countless parts and kits for me to tinker with). Thanks for inspiring my random projects, putting up with my hairbrained mistakes, and pushing me to grow this channel into something I am proud of. Thank you.
