As Human Rights Month draws to an end, People Opposing Women Abuse, POWA says South Africans have become accustomed to high levels of gender based violence. According to the organisation, an average of 360 incidences of physical and sexual abuse against women take place everyday. They've launched a news publication to highlight this human rights violation of dignity and freedom.
