The snap-down is a good transition from standing to groundfighting. The Welcome Mat athletes drill on snapping an opponent down to the mat and doing a rolling Kata Ha Jime (Single Wing Choke) or a Juji Gatame. While not allowed in sport judo, this snap-down is useful in most every other submission grappling sports. Commentary by Steve Scott.
