I would love to say that Joe Ingles made Paul George into his personal bitchboy and buttslave last night, however, that is not quite the case. Ingles scored 20 points, a respectable total, and he did have some words to say to George throughout the game ("I just hit another one ya cunt"), but George dropped 32, which, last time I checked, is considerably more than 20. Whatever Ingles had to say to him didn't get into his head too much, I guess.

Jinglin' Joe got the last laugh, though, because his team, through the power of TEAMWORK and CAMARADERIE, dominated the Thunder through the final three quarters. It makes one think, would Ingles even look good if he played for the iso-ball Thunder rather than the ball-sharing Jazz? He's more skilled than he looks at creating his own shot, but his impact is greatest when he's distributing the ball and hitting standstill three-pointers. I think he could work on the Thunder if you benched Melo for him, but then he would be separated from his Aussie-bro Dante Exum, and who knows how he would react to that.

By the way, thinking that Ingles is unironically better than Melo is now a perfectly valid opinion.
