CINCINNATI, Ohio (WKRC) -- Ohio Appeals Court gives a local death row inmate a chance at life. The higher court ruled that James Goff must be re-sentenced.  The court says the judge in the original trial should have allowed Goff to make a statement before handing down the sentence. That didn't happen. Goff was sentenced to die for the 1994 stabbing death of Myrtle Rutledge in Clinton County.
