The Kenya National Union of Teachers, KNUT, has backed up the decision by the Ministry of Education to suspend the implementation of the new curriculum which had been set to start at the beginning of next year for nursery and standard three pupils. The union's secretary general, Wilson Sossion, lamented that the entire process was flawed as it did not adhere to the constitution.
