Octagonal, with nine internal floors but we could only climb up to the second level...high enough since the stairwell was pitch black. Lunch, and then on to Jinci Si... Jinci Si had impressive gardens, flowering trees, ancient trees over 1,000 years old and various temples. The Hall of the Holy Mother was constructed in the Jin dynasty and is attributed with magical powers.
