Like thousands around the country Yvonne Lloyd is headed to Washington D.C. for President Barack Obama's second Inauguration. Unlike most people, she got a personal invitation. Long before he became President, LLoyd interviewed Barack Obama for a job as a community organizer in Chicago. Its a job that would shape a political career that eventually led to the White House. The President has never forgotten LLoyd. She attended his wedding and has a first edition signed copy of his first book. At 83 years old, LLoyd didn't have the money for the trip to D.C. When her story ran in the local newspaper, friends, anonymous donors and members of the Democratic Party donated money for airfare and hotel accomodations. Lloyd says she's thankful for all the help and the opportunity to witness history.
