Couple charged after niece dies in their care

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Two people were charged after a child placed in their care died. Dominic and Markeeta Beal had taken custody of their niece, Deslinn Nelson. The 6-year-old's mother was behind bars.Last week, Deslinn was taken to Children's Hospital in cardiac arrest. The coroner's autopsy revealed that was the result of severe head and neck trauma.For now, Dominic Beal and his wife were charged with child endangering. Dominic Beal was locked up.
