On this week’s episode of Pet Dish TV, we check in on Amber’s physical therapy routine during her nearly year-long recovery with AHS. Most animals that come to Animal Humane Society are with us for a short time before finding a new home – on average that’s about 10 days. But we sometimes see animals that need some extra care. Animals that aren’t suffering stay with us until they’re ready and able to find a new home, even if that journey takes nearly a year of love and care. Amber has been with AHS for nearly a year. She's required four different leg surgeries, each followed by months of physical therapy in foster care.
