Major retired George Nyamoko has been appointed new Director General of the Kenya Maritime Authority for a period of three years. Nyamoko has served at Kenya Navy for a period of 20 years, and he is taking over the mantle from George Mc’goye who served as the acting director after the exit of Nancy Karigithu now the principal secretary for maritime and shipping affairs.
