Pakistan's Alternative Press: Jihadist Newspapers

In northwest Pakistan, newspapers and magazines that openly support the Taliban and call for jihad are on sale alongside the mainstream press. Last year, in the wake of a major terrorist attack, the Pakistani government pledged to take action against publications that promote extremism.
