Men who exercise live longer than men who do not, and the younger they are when they start, and the more exercise they do, the longer they live. More is wrong with mammography than right. It detects small growths that are unlikely to turn into aggressive cancer, and misses “interval” cancers that develop in between mammograms. Additionally, dense breasts make the images harder to read, which leads to more testing, more worry, more false positives, and no reduction in the death rate.
