Administration police officers in Mlolongo confiscated and destroyed over five hundred litres of changaa as well as several rolls of bhang in a major crack down. The raid was made possible by members of the public who tipped off the area chief and directed him and his team to a shanty where the illicit brew was being manufactured. The alleged owners managed to evade the police drag net carrying hundred litres of the liquor. The chang’aa was packaged in polythene bags and popular beer bottles to hood wink law enforcers. The chang’aa and rolls of bhang were destroyed by the officers.
