https://livewithoutdeadtime.wordpress.com/ one of the last remaining large squatted areas in amsterdam has finally been evicted to make way for the building of luxury apartments. It has been the continual policy of the city council over the last fifteen years to destroy the subcultural base in amsterdam, to destroy collectives, co-operatives, art spaces, living spaces, social projects, alternative work spaces, in order to make a profit on property. And only luxury apartments for the few who can afford them. Despite a waiting list of 90,000 people who are in need of social housing, these housing projects do not serve them, especially in the centre of the city which is now becoming exclusive for the rich. https://livewithoutdeadtime.wordpress.com/
