81% Airbags Replaced; Target To Complete By Q1 2019

81 percent or more than 476,000 of the total number of Takata driver and passenger front airbag inflators in Honda vehicles have been replaced as of July 25th, 2018. According to Honda Malaysia, the internal target is to complete the airbag replacement by the first quarter of 2019 together with support from the government. She reiterated that the Japanese automaker has 100 percent stock availability for both the driver and passenger front airbag inflators. Earlier was the launch of the 96th Honda dealership in Malaysia located in Cheras, to accomodate the increasing after sales demand in Kuala Lumpur. With that, RM6 million has been invested into the 11,000 square feet Honda 3S Centre offering sales, services and spare parts.
