First run on a fresh rebuild to the motor! Very satisfied, my first attempt at rebuilding a motor without any manual just using resources from the internet. Pretty straight forward. Purchased this bike barely running, every year I put a little more into her and she runs a bit better. As you can see not entirely original, but I will slowly restore her. This past Winter of 2017/2018 I had ripped the tired motor out and brought it home to rebuild. Re-honed and bored cylinder wall out, new piston and rings, new exhaust valve (my own fault using the wrong type of dremel bit to clean off carbon) and valve stem seals, new exhaust gasket (never had one before) and it was previously missing the camshaft retaining washer that keeps it from sliding side to side. All new gaskets. New chinese PZ30 carburetor (Old one leaked out the float bowl drain) Side plastics are not for this bike but work fine. Front number plate cracked, I plan to convert to a working headlight as it previously had been! The pigtail is still there for it just need to test that it has voltage to it. Note the vice-grip as a gear lever lol.... I came up to the cabin to clear my workbench (motor had been sitting finished on it for a few months!) and packing the car up I FORGOT the gear shifting lever!!! Such an idiot!! So used the vice grips to be able to put it in Neutral to roll around. I did use it to put into 1st gear so I could put around make sure it did all the appropriate things :) I didn't bother to clean/paint any of the motor because I didn't have a good space to spray paint in, and the weather is so miserable and wet during the winter months where I live. The priority was to get it back together and not worry about how it looks. That is the easiest part anyways! She will get that treatment in the near future.

More videos and hopefully some good RIDING FOOTAGE to come in the coming months!!! Now that I have another bike for my friends to ride with me!!! Too unsafe to ride alone where these bikes are kept and used. Zero reception to make phone calls in an emergency and too far with too much vegetation for the 2-way radios I have... Might have to explore better radio options. Lots of dangerous wildlife too though etc.
