The last two years, I've had this LED array hooked to a battery inside various Jack-o-Lanterns. It did the job nicely, but now that I have the ability to control it, I decided to go ahead and do that. I'm using an ATTiny85 micro controller, programmed with the Arduino IDE through an Arduino as an ISP to control the light, and make it flicker and fade like a candle. It draws a lot less power this way, too.
