Footage from a long three-day trip (14 hours of driving each) from Seattle, Washington to Grand Rapids, Michigan. In order... 1.) Mount Stuart, located in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness of the Washington Cascades. 2.) Some typical terrain in Eastern Washington. 3.) Picturesque cirrus remnants from afternoon cumulonimbus clouds over western Montana, near sunset. 4.) Lighting at a rest stop near Bozeman, MT. 5.) Stormy sky over the North Dakota badlands 6.) Ride on the high-speed car ferry across Lake Michigan. This boat trucks at up to 45 knots, fast enough that it's difficult to walk against the wind on the deck.
