DigInfo - http://movie.diginfo.tv At the Tokyo International Fire and Safety Exhibition, Oki Denki Bohsai displayed the HUMAP, based on the idea of creating a user-friendly emergency map system. The HUMAP is not a conventional zone window type system because it can display with pictures the location of the fire outbreak and the locations where smoke is not being exhausted. When a fire is detected, the HUMAP system sends out an alarm with he location of the fire outbreak displayed on the map. Even if the fire has spread, the origin of the fire is locked, and the system sends out an alarm to warn those in the area who can then use the system to confirm the path of the spreading fire on the monitor. The HUMAP system guides those in the area to the proper evacuation route through broadcasting while at the same time confirming the status of the fire.
