Paul catches ibises and untangles fishing line from their feet, then lets them go.
He cycles the riverbank bike paths daily, observes the birds, and if he sees one with an entanglement, he arranges a second person and comes back to see if he can catch them.
Some are untangled and released immediately.
Some are brought into care if their injuries warrant it.
