The suspension, bodywork, and engine tune are radically different, however, making this a completely different bike to ride. I am tall with short lets and a very long torso making the seating position on this bike downright scary. Anytime I tap the brakes this thing wants to put me over the handlebars unless always trying to lean down in a wind-tuck position. This bike is VERY fast though, definitely much faster than its 600cc Japanese cousins. Great bike, though, handles very well, and extremely quick. I would just raise the handlebars an inch or two.
