This song is about the end of a girl's first crush. Specifically, when the hormones wear off and she realizes what a total IDIOT she was acting like. Of course, no pubescent girl has the vantage point to recognize that it was the just the hormones talking, so like most girls do - she blames the guy. :P Been a long time since I was that young so it was a bit tricky to remember how it felt.
