Invited Into a 100-Year-Old House in Moxi, China

http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com We spent one full day walking around little Moxi, letting feet take us where they would and stopping whenever something interesting came along. We met an elderly local while walking down a small street. This man, traditionally dressed in Chinese-style Mao jacket and hat, graciously invited us into his 100-year old house to talk...actually, we talked, Mr. Wang and Dondup translated. Interaction is always a high-point when traveling (along with FOOD). These people were so charming and the house was immaculate. Just an example of dumb luck in Moxi...
