http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Our very nice driver takes us into downtown Mae Hong Son where he will wait while we eat dinner at Fern Restaurant, a traveler's favorite, walk around the interesting Night Market and then take us back to the Imperial Mae Hong Son Resort. Loved the Night Market with food sellers, local hill tribe people and others selling all along the street, around a small lake in the center and gorgeous Burmese style Wats. Mae Hong Son town was isolated for years before the 1,864 turns road was built but now daily flights land at the small airport and tourism increases yearly. It has many hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, a bus station and minivans for transport. It was worth every one of those turns to get here. Please do't forget to Subscribe Share and Like. Thanks.
