Punjab government seeks conviction of Sidhu in road rage case

In a very shocking move, Punjab government has sought its Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu’s conviction in a 30-year-old road rage case.
The Congress government has asked the Supreme Court to uphold Sidhu's conviction in the 1988 Patiala road rage case. 
The top court had granted bail to the cricketer-turned-politician after he was sentenced to three years in prison by the Punjab and Haryana high court.
Sidhu had allegedly hit Gurnam Singh on the head during an argument on a road in Patiala . Later, Gurnam Singh died in hospital of a haemorrhage.
