You're feeling stranded Lost and abandoned In life's empty wilderness You sent up those flares But does anyone care? Does anyone know that you are there? I promise you.... Help is on it's way Help is on it's way Hold tight, it'll be alright Help is on it's way So when life's a grind And you're losing your mind And you're sure you've been left far behind I promise you.... Help is on it's way Help is on it's way Hold tight, it'll be alright Help is on it's way ------------------------------------------------------------------ I bought a ukulele while vacationing in Nashville last year, and this is the first song it prompted. I've been meaning to work it up - even asked Ric from channel Mrshelfsong for some ideas - but life has intervened. Still, there is something about this early phone recorded demo that strikes a chord in me. In some ways, the simplicity and rawness plays into the theme of the song. I hope you agree. :) I have a couple other songs to post and some projects that needed remixing, so I expect to be around a bit more in the next few months. I'll do my best to get around to everyone's channels. Thanks for your kindness and support. Justin
