A stage adaptation of Zadie Smith's novel White Teeth opens this week so we popped down to the rehearsal room to get an exclusive first listen.

Adapted for the stage by Stephen Sharkey, the play with songs follows the myriad lives lived on the Kilburn High Road, following characters including Rosie Jones, the Iqbal twins, their parents, their grandparents and Mad Mary.

The world premiere is directed by Kiln's AD Indhu Rubasingham and stars Naomi Frederick, Ayesha Antoine, Tony Jayawardena, Sid Sagar, Ayesha Antoine, Karl Queensborough, Amanda Wilkin, Richard Lumsden and Phillip Bird.
