The boss of the first stage of the game is Little Eddie. His name is very misleading, as he is actually really huge (as the announcer humorously point out). He's also not very bright, but he does hit hard.

Being the first boss, he's not hard to beat. What you want to do is stay under him and attack his legs; he can't really hit you when you're that close. When the QTE prompt pops up, go for it; successfully completing the gestures that come up will result in Little Eddie taking heavy damage.

After defeating a boss, you'll always have a prompt for a finishing move, with most of them being interactive. Here, Jack turns Little Eddie's own weapon against him.

The last quote from the announcers always makes me laugh.
