There are several side-missions in GUN, all of which will increase some of your stats. It is rather essential to complete at least a few of these missions, as later missions will become more difficult than they should be if you ended up ignoring them.

The Pony Express missions involve delivery of an item, etc. to a person. However, the length of travel between your starting point and that person gets longer as you complete more missions, and there will be missions where you'll have to go from person to person. In some of the missions, you'll be attacked by various enemies as you try to get to where you need to go.

This is the second set of Pony Express missions. One of the more humorous missions here involves finding a lost rider; I think what happens once you find him is pretty funny. Also, Cole is challenged by a veteran Pony Express rider in the last mission seen in the video.
